Accolade insulation material
Insulating a floor prior to laying the heating system serves three main purposes.
It prevents heat generated by the system from travelling downwards into the concrete base or floor void
It dramatically improves heat up times and running costs.
It protects the heat mat from damage due to nails/screws or other foreign objects in (or on) the floor.
